Going Deeper in Mindfulness & Yoga for Kids with Special Needs

They are a part of module 4 for people who have completed the First 3 modules and have is specifically taken a 200 or more hours of adult yoga teacher training and are registered with Yoga Alliance.

Mindfulness: What is mindfulness? Why teach mindfulness? We will cover in depth, Practices, Breathe-work, Setting intentions, Affirmations, Meditations, Tools, Resources

Kids Yoga with Special Needs: Covering various abilities, from ADHD, Autism, physical, mental, anxiety, dyslexia, Sensory Processing Disorder and more.. We will cover in depth, Practices, Breathe -work, Setting intentions, Affirmations, Meditations, Tools, Resources

Module 4 will cover

• Ethics of teaching kids yoga?
• Communication & relationships in the kids yoga world
• Deeper into Classroom management
• Kids yoga camps
• Final Reflections

This training will wrap up all of the previous modules and qualify you for a 95 hour children’s yoga certificate from Yoga Alliance.For those on this journey we will review the other 3 modules, review all your hours of observation, student teaching and reflection.

We will review your lesson plans and finalize all the extra hours needed outside of the previous 3 modules. Module 4 must be completed within 18 months of starting the Kids Yoga Teacher Training.

Teachers can register as a RCYT if they have successfully completed both a 200-hour yoga teacher training program and a 95-hour children’s yoga training—in either order—that are registered with Yoga Alliance.

Applicants must submit 30 teaching hours in children’s yoga which must be performed after completing a program with a RCYS (Registered Children’s Yoga School).

Trainings times are Friday 7-9pm Saturday 11:30-7pm Sunday 11-7pm (1 hour learning lunch on Sat/Sun)

Module 4 is $399 Early Bird before May 5th ~ $425 thereafter.

The 2.5 hour workshops in Module 4 can taken alone without the entire weekend training for $75 each, or $125 for both workshops.  Workshops are from 11:30 am – 2pm Saturday and 11:30 am – 2pm Sunday
